Caravan Outpost
Just an hour and a half north of LAX lies Caravan Outpost, a secret garden in the city of Ojai. Caravan Outpost hosts a community; a transient, impermanent circle of creatives, free thinkers, and wanderlusters.
You never know who you will meet on these eclectic grounds. You may even encounter one of the members of the Red Hot Chili Peppers (true story). We can understand why this hidden locale may attract rockstars. The half circle of airstream trailers (deluxe caravans) and one tiny house is surrounded by palm trees and purpley blue hued agapanthus flowers. The surroundings create a shady, intimate, and restorative oasis.
Unwind and unplug from the daily grind while reconnecting with the simple life. Guests come from all over for daily or weekly stays. This gem of a location is also prime space for booking a special occasion like a boho wedding, family reunion, or birthday celebration. At night, follow the string of lights and head to the middle of the semicircle for some stargazing in the chill zone.
Grab a guitar with your group and sing around the fire pit or read a book in the comfort of your cozy caravan. Wake up to a California sunrise and grab some coffee in the first caravan.
